To help meet these requirements, NAFED is offering training seminars to aid technicians who are planning to take a certification exam or are just looking for an excellent training opportunity. The ICC/NAFED Certified Portable Fire Extinguisher Technician certification exam is based on NFPA 10, Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers, 2007 Edition; 2006 International Fire Code; CGA - C1 pamphlet, Methods of Hydrostatic Testing of Compressed Gas Cylinders; and 29 CFR 1910.132-138.
