What else does NAFED offer?

DOT Train-the-Trainer
Per the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49 (CFR 49), any employee who handles, recharges, hydrostatic tests, transports, ships, or orders fire extinguishers, pre-engineered systems, or engineered systems is a HazMat employee and must be fully trained, tested, and certified. NAFED's one-day seminar will train an individual from your company to become the trainer for other HazMat employees. Be sure to check our event calendar or call to see if this onsite training is scheduled anytime in the future.

Advanced Kitchen Systems Training
This seminar goes beyond the basics of understanding the NFPA standards and manufacturers' manuals and deals with specific areas of NFPA 17A and 96 to provide a detailed visual and audio presentation on the problems and solutions faced by the kitchen fire extinguishing systems technician. This program is not designed to make the extinguishing system technician an expert in hood and duct construction and cleanliness nor is it designed to make the extinguishing system technician an expert on kitchen appliances. The purpose of the seminar is to show obvious areas of concern that could impact the extinguishing system's effectiveness. Be sure to check our event calendar or call to see if this onsite training is scheduled anytime in the future.
